Specialist Land Rover & Range Rover Repairs

Modern Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles combine complex mechanical systems with sophisticated electronic controls. When something goes wrong, successful repair often requires more than simply replacing the first component associated with a fault code.

At Leese Landrover near Lampeter, our workshop undertakes specialist mechanical and electrical repairs across a wide range of Land Rover and Range Rover models. Our experience, specialist equipment and advanced diagnostic capability allow us to investigate the underlying cause of difficult faults and carry out the necessary repair.

From brakes, air suspension and electrical faults through to engines, gearboxes, torque converters and major drivetrain work, we take on jobs that require genuine Land Rover knowledge.

Major Mechanical Repairs & Engine Rebuilds

Land Rover engines and drivetrains are designed to cope with demanding use, but major mechanical failures can still occur. When they do, we can discuss a range of repair and replacement options depending on the vehicle and the nature of the failure.

Our workshop undertakes significant jobs including engine replacement, drivetrain work and repairs that require major vehicle dismantling. This includes body-off engine changes, a type of specialist work that not every independent garage is equipped or prepared to undertake.

Where possible, we explain the available options before work progresses, whether that involves repairing existing components, using a reconditioned unit or fitting a suitable replacement.

Not Just Local Work

Specialist Repairs Worth Travelling For

Although Leese Landrover is based near Lampeter in West Wales, some of the specialist work we undertake attracts vehicles from considerably further afield.

We have previously carried out specialist jobs for customers travelling from outside Wales and even from France and Spain. For major repairs such as body-off engine changes and difficult diagnostic problems, owners may be willing to travel to a workshop with the experience and capability to undertake the job properly.

For this reason, our repair service is not limited only to customers in Lampeter or Ceredigion. If you have a significant Land Rover or Range Rover mechanical problem, contact us and tell us what has happened to the vehicle.
